Contract
All items (cakes boards, fountains & stands, pillars, etc.) that are used in your wedding cake must be returned no later than the next Monday. Failure to do so will result in a $5 per day charge, which is taken from the security item deposit. This charge helps me to discourage anyone from retuning items late. Any missing or broken items will be deducted from your deposit check as well. A list will be placed at the hall or given to you when you pick up your cake so you will know what must be returned.
All cakes must be paid for before they can be delivered! No exceptions. This also includes the item security deposit check being paid as well. Your cake should be paid in total no later than 2 weeks before the wedding. Pay for your cake in two separate checks, one for the cake and the other for the security on the items (which is the check you get back upon return of the items) to keep it simple. I will return the deposit check to you when the items are returned to me. If I’m not home when you arrive, please leave all items on the front porch and I’ll go through them and return your deposit check by mail.

Deposit amount will not be refunded if the cake is cancelled less than 3 months prior to event. Again, balance of cake is due two weeks before wedding when final count is given. No refunds will be made after this time with the exception of death in the family. All corrections, size changes, flavor changes, decorating ideas MUST BE DONE BEFORE THAT TWO WEEK PERIOD.
Security deposit is $45 if your cake hasn't any fountain. Security deposit is $100 for each fountain. This deposit is returned to you when the items are returned to me the Monday following your wedding. Again, there will be a charge for lateness. All items do not have to be cleaned because they have to be sterilized specially. I really appreciate your cooperation. Thank you! I have many weddings one right after the other, so as not to ruin it for someone else, I do require my customers to be prompt in returning all items.
